3/11/2015-Los Angeles– The new Midas M32R 40-input digital mixer is now shipping, providing the most sought after features of the best-selling M32 console in a smaller form factor, and at a very attractive price point.

The M32R’s local connectivity includes 16 XLR Midas Mic Preamps, 8 XLR outs, 6 Aux I/O and expands to its full 40-input, 25-bus capacity when paired with the optional DL16 or DL32 digital stage boxes.

The mixer is also outfitted with an ULTRANET port for sending 16 channels of audio via Cat-5e cable to sister-company Turbosound’s iQ Series of loudspeaker, as well as Behringer’s P16 personal monitoring system.

Also included is a Klark Teknik DN32-USB 32 x 32 channel USB 2.0 interface card, enabling users to connect directly to Mac and PC computers for multitrack recording and virtual sound check capabilities. Additionally, the onboard 2-track USB recorder can record any two assigned audio channels via the routing menu.

MUSIC Group Experience Sr. Manager Joe Sanborn states, “Our new M32R console puts full-scale digital recording and live sound mixing within the grasp of an entirely new market. Now houses of worship, concert venues and the like can benefit from the M32’s amazing technology and intuitive workflow, even if space or budget constraints prohibit a larger console.”

The M32R is available through authorized dealers and online retailers at an estimated MAP of $2,999.99 (USD), and is covered by MUSIC Group’s 3-year limited warranty program.
